The Great Bangalore Breakfast

Would you believe if it is said that Bangalore has a breakfast tradition? Yes it does! This breakfast tradition cannot be matched to any city throughout the country. All Bangaloreans would definitely have their own favourite breakfast place to barge on. Let us have a brief look at the best breakfast place you must visit.
Mavalli Tiffin Room (MTR)
MTR is another word for TASTE! It was kick started by Parampalli Yajnanarayana Maiya and his brothers in the year 1924. They pay more attention to the food quality and cleanliness than ambiance. They serve with best Masala Dosa, Rava idli, Thatte idli and Bisibele bath. This could be one of the best breakfast places one can suggest in Bangalore.
Vidhyarthi Bhavan
If you are a lover of beverage and breakfast Vidhyarthi Bhavan is the right place to hit on! It is a famous vegetarian restaurant in Gandhi Bazaar which was founded in the year 1943. This restaurant is known for delicious and crispy Masala Dosa, Sagu Masala Dosa and coffee to sip on.
Anybody who is willing to taste the real authentic south Indian food then Maiyas is the place you have been looking for. It serves with variety of relishing dishes such as masala dosa, idli, vada, mosaru (curd) vade, bisi bele bath. Don’t miss benne (butter) dosa which is served particularly between 7 am to 8:30 am. And later the restaurant serves with thuppa (ghee) dosa which is lip-smacking.
CTR (Sree Sagar)
CTR has been recently renamed as Sree Sagar but no doubt the taste remains the same since ages. It was started by Y.V. Subramanyam and brothers in the 1920s. It serves with mouth-watering Bene masala dosa, Mangalore bajji, Coffee. There are wide number of customers flowing to this restaurant to start their day with crispy dosas and hot filter coffee to have a refreshing morning.
